So, you want to learn how to get paid on YouTube, huh?
Ok I’m going to reveal to you the ins and outs of making money on Youtube. The reason I’m equipped to teach at a high level when it comes to youtube video marketing is because it’s how I became a full time entrepreneur and ranked several videos having to do with keywords getting 50,000+ searches per month.
Honestly, that doesn’t even matter to me as much as it used to.
What matters to me now are the several students (working to help 1,000) who have seen an immediate BOOST in their views, engagement, and clients since applying my youtuber methods.
Initially, I only started making YT videos because I was an affiliate of a company and I would make videos to promote the products the company had to offer. It wasn’t like I actually aspired to be a ‘youtuber’, I was only doing it to get traffic to my site. After a few months of me uploading new content to the powerhouse content engine, I started generating new subscribers, new views, and new sales on almost 100% autopilot. People started to really love my content!
I started to enjoy recording videos.
It was the first time in my life anything business-oriented REALLY started working for me.
At the time I was working 12-hour shifts for a measly $8.50 per hour as a security guard or I might’ve been at the dead-end Baby’s R’ Us job I used to have.
I don’t actually remember.
I just know I was very young and desperately looking for a way OUT of being trapped in the rat race.

How to go from working at a 9-5 Job to Working for Yourself Full Time using the Power of YouTube Traffic
My first big break through as an entrepreneur happened when I started learning "how to get paid on Youtube". I didn’t realize I was making money as a youtuber but no matter how you look at it, I was. I went from struggling for years at my 9-5 jobs to discovering my groove as an entrepreneur and quitting my job.
A HUGE MYTH is that you need to have many subscribers to make a lot of money and that is not true at all. Please don’t believe people who say that nonsense! They will cheat you out of living your dream. 
There are multiple ways to make money on youtube but I’m going to share the 3 main ways in this article.
Get paid on Youtube by the Ad-Clicks You Get:
Personally, I think it would’ve taken me forever to quit my job if I was relying on my subscribers to grow fast enough to click enough ads on my videos. I don’t have the most subscribers in the world at the moment (I currently have 4,936 at the time of this post) but I’m still able to live life on my terms. That doesn’t change the fact that there are youtubers making a killing from ad clicks. It just takes a ton of subscribers to see a substantial income from that. You have to be basically ‘famous’.
Get Paid on Youtube by Receiving Donations (or Subscribers on a site like Patreon):
This is NOT a bad way to earn income on YouTube. It can be very lucrative! It just comes down to the type of niche you are in and the kind of message you are speaking on your channel. This wouldn’t be so much of a sales based channel but more of a value-based and personality-based channel. In other words when your target market decides to watch your videos they have to feel as if they are learning something, being entertained, or are fighting a cause that is larger than life. That is how to get paid on Youtube receiving donations if that’s the path you want to take. This path requires a larger than average subscriber amount if you want to receive a life-changing income. For example, comedians, activists, motivational speakers, conspiracy theorists, highly talented people etc. tend to start off receiving donations.
Get Paid on Youtube by receiving Affiliate Commissions:
This is how I got put onto how to make money on Youtube! As an affiliate of a product or business opportunity you can receive commissions for referring customers or clients or downloaders or trial members, you name it. Affiliate commissions are what changed my life! The reason is because the money you earn for a simple referral is usually much more than what you would earn from a person clicking on your ad or donating to your cause. Sometimes it even comes in monthly. The key to this is you want to be ranking your Youtube videos around targeted keywords having to do with the opportunity/product you are affiliated with so that when people search those key terms they will organically come across your videos.
No matter the ways you can make money creating content you always have to be valuable and entertaining!
Oh... and you must be able to rank.

The SECRET to making a lot of money on Youtube is you have to be getting seen by the people who are looking for what you have to offer. So targeting keywords that are related to your topics and get at least 1,000 searches per month is vital. YOUR videos need to be as close as possible to the top of the 1st page of Google/youtube.
Then you will see you’ve officially learned how to get paid on youtube as the traffic starts to pour in.
I used to Ask myself, “what are some keywords a person looking to quit their job would research?”
That would help me formulate a keyword map in which I would create videos talking about the different keywords. Then people started finding me out of nowhere. I started to get thousands and thousands of subscribers and views to my Jon Belcherstation Youtube channel. It’s like an unstoppable train that will go on for eternity. The rest is history...
