Damn. I feel a bit sad to tell you I’ve been neglecting my musical dreams a bit.

It’s been weeks since I last stepped foot in the studio because I felt the need to vacation and take a ‘mini break’ from making music. It’s been YEARS (basically a decade) since I released a project.

Listen to my 1st Mixtape HERE

I’ve recently released some Single records but no full on projects as of yet.

My most recent Singles are: “All State” , “Say It’s Love”, and “BOOM”.

…I’m in a transformational phase in my life right now where I want to help you succeed on the internet…

But I also want to be sure that my message of FREEDOM is clear to you!

The Promised Land of Freedom Is Closer Than It Appears

The freedom to do what you please.

The freedom to be who you want to be.

The freedom to earn more money as your own boss than you’ve ever earned at any job.

My vision is bigger than before and a bit more complex. I want to help content creators take over in their business, and musicians actually fall in that category. But I want to be clear and purposeful about what I represent.

I’m still about spiritual growth, personal development, and financial freedom… whether I make music or not I will always represent those ideas.

The only thing is I don’t know if my audience will enjoy my music like they do my content on here and my YouTube channel.

I don’t know if people will box me in to one limited view that they have of me. Although I'm decent at creating content I want you to know that I'm a human being first who enjoys the simple things that you may enjoy.

Will you accept me as I am even if I made music with profanity in it? (Comment below and let me know)

Will you judge me for making urban music that gets a little explicit? (Comment below and let me know)

Are you into Hip Hop music at all? (Comment below and let me know)

Cancel Culture and Why I Don't Agree With It

Normally I wouldn’t care what people thought or felt about me making hip hop music because it’s what I love to do.

But I do care about you and the message I am sending you.

…Today we are living in a very judgemental society infused with “Cancel culture”.

Which I don’t agree with cancel culture because that doesn’t correct the person. Canceling people does nothing but make them feel abandoned and they never get to learn from their negative viewpoints or ways.

Cancel culture allows for a mass group of people to automatically be RIGHT even if they are “WRONG” , simply because enough people are in agreement. Cancel culture actually doesn’t help society.

Instead we should educate and teach the masses so they can do better.

The 300toFreedom movement allows us to serve people to the best of our ability.

We are the people so clearly we care more about us than any elitist group ever will. Therefore we must take the Kingdom back.

As for my music, it’s fun, it’s reflective, it’s a bit therapeutic, but it is a tad bit vulgar at times.

But you might love it! LISTEN HERE

Sometimes I curse and use the word “n*gga” in my lyrics but please don’t get all sensitive on me. Sometimes I talk about sex and money which really isn’t a big deal because we wouldn’t be here without one and we wouldn’t be able to live without the other.

…One of my sisters got signed to Warner Bros. By LL Cool J years ago … she was a rapper and got to travel the world a little bit before deciding it wasn’t for her.

The reason I share that with you is because music is in my blood. Music has always influenced my family since I was a kid at home listening to the songs my parents would play.

I don’t think I will ever stop making good tunes people can enjoy.

If you’re a musician then you know how hard it is to stop making music or at least THINKING about it once you find a love for creating it.

…making music is an addicting process that empowers you to continue after you can’t believe your own ears from hearing yourself…

Music allows you a voice.

Just like Youtubing and Instagramming and Facebooking does.

That’s why I love it.

And that’s what I’m about. Helping you raise your VOICE!

What brings more people together than music? I’ll wait.

Music is powerful. Music is energy. Music can be unifying. Music can change the world.

Will you take me as I am?

Or is it weird to be a YouTuber and a musician at the same time?

Let me know the answers to my questions in the comments below. I would appreciate your feedback.

If you make music then let’s chat and share new music with one another, maybe we can collaborate soon.

TALK TO YOU SOON,

~Jonathan Belcher aka Jaydis Crete
